Mark PantonMark is a senior assistant Solicitor with the firm with over 13 year’s experience in criminal litigation. He specialises in defending all high value and complex fraud prosecutions with particular emphasis in those brought by Revenue & Customs for Missing Trader Intra-Community (MTIC) fraud and money laundering.

Mark has acted in a variety of high profile and complex cases brought by the Serious Fraud Office including the successful defence of a prosecution for the loss of £35m from Izodia PLC and multi-million pound losses arising from the Land Fill Tax Credit Scheme.

He regularly represents those under investigation for criminal and regulatory offences and appears in Court. Mark is a Higher Rights Advocate (Higher Criminal Courts).

Mark is also an expert in Asset Confiscation and has acted in the ground breaking case of R v P at Harrow Crown Court on 18 March 2008. An interesting comment was produced in the Criminal Bar Quarterly June 2008 edition.
