Gerald O'MahoneyGerald has over 30 year’s experience in senior litigation and Arbitration roles mainly in private practice. During this period he has built up a unique breadth and depth of knowledge and experience of commercial litigation and Arbitration.

His expertise and skills can only be acquired through many years of experience, brought together with a systematic approach to providing quality advice to clients and creativity in solving problems.  Some of the larger matters have meant that Gerald has managed large teams of associates and more junior fee earners which he does with an enthusiasm and energy for developing and supporting young lawyers.

Gerald’s experience covers a wide range of sectors including Banking, Hedge Funds, Insurance/Reinsurance and Oil/Gas as well as general commercial contractual matters. These have been conducted across a very wide range of international jurisdictions including, for example, the Bahamas, BVI, Cook Islands, Hong Kong, Germany, Switzerland, Ireland, Ukraine and New Zealand, as well as in the UK.

These matters have involved the full spectrum of Commercial disputes and Arbitration matters including shareholder disputes, minority oppression and Directors duties, Insolvency issues, contractual disputes, civil fraud, intellectual property and brand protection, UK and Worldwide Freezing injunctions and search orders, as well as trust and tracing claims.
