15 January 2010: Morgan Rose secures an acquittal for Alan Ellis, the administrator of one of the world's largest peer to peer websites - Oink's Pink Palace - after a 7 day trial at Teesside Crown Court. Today, a jury returned a unanimous verdict of not guilty in just 90 minutes, which was a resounding victory in case which has spanned several years.
This case was the first of its type, whereby a complaint was made to British police by both the British Phonographic Industry and the International Federation of Phonographic Industry alleging criminal rights infringement caused by the operation of a peer to peer website. Unusually, police had invited TV crews to film the raid of Mr Ellis' property in October 2007.

December 2009: Jansen Versfeld secures two acquittals in serious money laundering case of R v S at Isleworth Crown Court. A mother and son accused of laundering the proceeds of a £16m VAT fraud were acquitted after a long trial.
February 2009: Morgan Rose acts for two South African Airways airline crews arrested on suspicion of importing drugs.
