1 June 2010:  All charges against directors of TV Links thrown out.  Morgan Rose secured the dismissal of all charges before trial, in the Bristol Crown Court in the private prosecution of TV Links by the Federation Against Copyright Theft (FACT).   The case, alleging conspiracy to defraud by directors of a company that provided internet links to allegedly copyright protected material, was dismissed in full by the Judge on an application in January of this year.

15 January 2010:  Morgan Rose secures an acquittal for Alan Ellis, the administrator of one of the world's largest peer to peer websites - Oink's Pink Palace - after a 7 day trial at Teesside Crown Court.  Today, a jury returned a unanimous verdict of not guilty in just 90 minutes, which was a resounding victory in case which has spanned several years.

This case was the first of its type, whereby a complaint was made to British police by both the British Phonographic Industry and the International Federation of Phonographic Industry alleging criminal rights infringement caused by the operation of a peer to peer website.   Unusually, police had invited TV crews to film the raid of Mr Ellis' property in October 2007.  Morgan Rose instructed Mr Alex Stein of 5 Fountain Court Chambers, Birmingham.
