Since April 2001, full Legal Aid has been available in the Crown Court as of right to every person charged with a crime that is serious enough to warrant it. The vast majority of criminal cases that we specialise in defending all qualify as a result. Legal Aid is means tested in the Magistrates Court and will shortly become means tested in the Crown Court. We welcome legally aided clients and our position on the Specialist Fraud Panel permits us to work on publicly funded cases of a serious and complex nature.
