Morgan Rose Solicitors was created in 2000 when the founding partners, Simon Morgan and Simon Rose responded to the growing demand for specialist expertise and knowledge in the defence of serious and complex fraud, other economic crime and regulatory compliance. During the last seven years, the firm has expanded dynamically and our Head Office is based in the City in the heart of London’s legal community on Chancery Lane. The firm was one of the first members to be appointed as a member of the Specialist Fraud Panel; a group to which only a small percentage of accredited criminal defence practices belong. Focusing on the field of serious and complex economic crime and associated work including asset restraint and forfeiture we quickly gained a first rate reputation for the advice, representation and skillful defending that has become our hallmark. Morgan Rose was awarded a Category (1) - Rating of Excellence in February 2007 further to its first Peer Review; a compulsory scheme managed by the Legal Services Commission to ensure that quality standards in case preparation and client care are met. As at December 2006 only 3 firms of 205 Peer Reviewed in the Crime Category achieved a Category (1) Excellence Rating, meaning that we are privileged to be in the top 2% of firms nationwide that have been audited thus far. Morgan Rose has been awarded nothing less than a Category (1) Excellence rating at all previous Specialist Quality Mark audits, which were the precursors to Peer Review and we are proud to have earned and maintained such a distinguished track record year on year. Our dedicated team of Solicitors includes three partners, all being experts in their chosen areas of practice. The wealth of knowledge that we bring to our work is drawn from a broad variety of experience acquired from careers at the Bar, the Police Force, Foreign Office and both criminal and commercial private practice. We are dedicated to providing only the very highest standard of representation and client care. We are firm believers in the need for quality and reliable advice at the first point of contact with investigating authorities which is usually at the interview stage. Bad or even mediocre advice at this point may have a direct and adverse affect on later events. |
